Ahmed bin Ali Stadium

Built on the site of the former Ahmed bin Ali Stadium itself, the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ stadium is located on the edge of the wilderness. The city of Al Rayyan is known as the gateway to the desert and has always championed environmental issues. Hence, the stadium is designed with sustainability in mind. After the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™, the upper tier and almost half of the 40,000 seats will be handed over to football development projects abroad.

These elements are integrated within a shield pattern that denotes strength and unity.
